Please , please read this review! I am sure this will be very useful for any one had a massive problem with his automatic gearbox and no one want fix it because it’s completed!
First I had Ford galaxy new face lift with second generation gearbox 186,000 miles I started have a loud noise from my gearbox! Ford dealer said you need new one £6000 !!! I looked on Ford galaxy group and I looked online to find Gearbox specialist to fix it .

My story start once I contact RAF on the phone I noticed he is very professional, know what he doing detected what might be the issue and even gave me a frame time maximum three days to fix it and the estimated price which is way fare from ford dealer! Less than half !
He booked me in same day ( likely as his garage so busy ) and he was updated me with photos about the status.
Then I met his business partner Adam ! Same behaviour like RAF , to pick up my car it was Professionally washed and ready for collection .
Now my car look like a new car .
Thank you both and your teams for this wonderful service .
You gain a new customer with free advertising as I will tell everyone get A problem with his gearbox.

Rapheal & his team took in my T5.1, which was suffering with bearing failure in the gearbox , horrible noise whilst driving . The van was with Rapheal & his team for 1 week . They changed the bearings in the gearbox , the clutch & flywheel , the power steering pump & hose , and the crank seal, which was weeping oil . Kept me up to date at every step , and even saved me a taxi fair by bringing my van to me after repair , as i could not get a taxi or a lift at the time .
I would highly recommend AGR & the team , Brilliant .Well deserved a 5☆☆☆☆☆ rating

Would just like to comment on the great service and work carried out by Raf, Adam and the team at AGR in Aldershot. My Hyundai Sante Fe, required a full service, including a transmission fluid change, repair to my automatic gear shift, a part replacement to the steering column all of which helped to improve the overall car suspension. The price quoted was what I paid and far more reasonable than other places I looked at. All the work carried out came with a 12 month warranty, excellent customer service and the added extra of a clean car to take home. Will be recommending AGR, Raf and his team going forward. Very impressed with Rafael’s knowledge & customer service. Took in my Land Rover Discovery (Automatic) for a diagnostic check with gearbox issue. Had been suggested (elsewhere) may need a new gearbox. Rafael investigated & did a full gearbox service, discovered gearbox oil leak & transmission seals were the issue, fixed & car now running smoothly as it used to before the problems. Very happy with service, updates and repair. Would definitely recommend Rafael.

Visited AGR team when my Jaguar XE developed DPF issue coupled with restricted performance and engine warning Light. Rafal diagnosed root cause as a timing chain fault and booked me in promptly. Needless to say, the service was fantastic. All parts were genuine from JLR, and he kept me updated all through the works. These guys even sorted out a minor oil leak (and other unrelated minor works) as a courtesy without further cost, which was reasonable. They returned the car with a complimentary valet.

We had a Toyota Auris (MMT gearbox) with a lot of transmission issues due to a bodged gearbox replacement by the previous owner - I took it to AGR and they identified and repaired every issue: replacing the electronic clutch actuator, MMT Clutch, release bearing, driveshaft seals, inner CV gaiters, wiring repair (a lot of), and even throwing in a gearbox oil change. The car has driven nicely ever since and is no longer leaving us stranded on the side of the road!

I was hesitant to get repairs done at other garages, as the MultiMode manual Transmission is a somewhat specialist system - AGR have a lot of experience with the MMT and its associated reprogramming, so I am happy that they were the ones repairing my car!
