Posto tranquillo, personale gentilissimo e ospitale, camera e hotel in generale davvero accoglienti e muniti di tutte le comodità. Ci abbiamo trascorso due giorni e ci siamo trovati davvero benissimo! 🙂

Our 2nd visit out did our 1st! I can not rave enough. Our hosts, Pepper and Rusty, outdid themselves. Their home becomes yours. | They have now lived in Ghivizzano for 14 years and know everyone, all the surrounding eateries and every great scenic adventure in the area. Just a short walk from their home, the 'bar", near the train station, has the best gelato in Italy. Seriously.| The location is a short train ride to Luuca and Pisa. Don't miss either.| After our 1st visit, we stayed in touch and felt we were returning to visit friends. After this visit, we hated leaving them behind.| Th

My fifth visit with Rusty and Pepper was better than ever! This is the place where first-time visitors become lasting friends. These two creative hosts devote their full energy to making your stay meaningful, in one of the most beautiful places (and often underrated in the travel books) in Italy! I highly recommend Casa LaPace. You will not regret discovering this wonderful place to stay!

Casa La Pace is an enchanting 4 bedroom villa in a charming small village of Ghivizzano Italy. The residents are friendly and welcoming and believe me, there isn't one that the owners don't know! Pepper and Rusty felt like family by the time we left and couldn't have been more welcoming. My sister, friend and I each had our own room and bathroom and couldn't have been more pleased with the accommodations. The living room and library were an added bonus and were a welcome change after the hotels in Rome. Pepper gave us an amazing tour of Ghivizzano and its castle (home to many and even had a s

After 3 bustling days in Rome, arriving at Casa la Pace was most definitely a slice of heaven! From it's beautiful views, comfortable accommodations and the very best hosts you could ask for. Every morning we awoke to the smell of fresh coffee and a "slow foods" breakfast which included fresh fruit, eggs, meat and cheeses and fresh bread Rusty would get from the local bakery. |Pepper was a great tour guide and shopping buddy. This was our second visit to Casa la Pace and it was great again. Pepper and Rusty are wonderful hosts and their B&B is a great place from which to explore northern Tuscany. We toured in the day and visited local restaurants for great food every night. For someone who doesn't speak Italian, it's a good way to enjoy Italy without worrying about a language problem as they are both fluent. Their home is almost 300 years old but beautifully restored in an authentic Italian style. Very comfortable and less than a 10 minute walk to the train station if you don't stop to visit with the neighbors

Pepper and Rusty are the perfect hosts. Each day one of them took us around Tuscany seeing such cities as Florence, Lucca and 3 of the QuinqueTerre cities and exploring castles, churches, great food. We learned a lot about the area and used public transportation (trains & busses), which gave us a feel of the area. Each evening we dined at an area restaurant. ||Casa La Pace is a comfortable B&B at the end of a quiet street, walking distance from the bus stop and train station. We got to meet neighbors and shop keepers as well as friendly dogs and cats!
