The B&B is a proper Italian villa with a terrace and a nice swimming pool. Everything is clean and the owners look after all details. The service and the welcome was very nice; we felt at home as soon as you arrive. The room was comfortable, decorate with good taste, the bed was big. All the furniture were new and well selected. ||After a long day of work ending there was simply perfect; I slept very well waking up with the sound of little birds and a very good coffee with croissant. It is not a simple B&B; the host welcome you warmly but at the same time with discretion. I found this place exclusive.

Cascina Vedu' e' situata a due passi dal centro cittadino in una zona residenziale molto ben curata, pulita e silenziosa. Il luogo e' incantevole, un'ottima scelta di arredamenti e pezzi d'arte riempiono la casa con grande gusto. Si puo' rimanere ore ad ammirare l'ambiente. Alba, la proprietaria, e' una signora che con grande professionalita' ti accoglie a casa sua e ti illustra le semplici informazioni necessarie. Nel periodo primaverile ed estivo sara' sicuramente un piacere godere della piscina e dell'ampio cortile su cui la cascina di affaccia. Ottimo relax dopo una giornata di lavoro o turismo in Brianza. La colazione e' semplice ma propone pietanze selezionate con attenzione. Molto molto consigliato!

This is one of the best B&Bs (probably THE best) I have ever stayed in. The buildings are spacious, elegantly designed with high ceilings and immaculate bedrooms. It is very quiet, no traffic noise, as it located at the end of a quiet street. The rooms are separated across several buildings as you can see in the photos, also making it very quiet. The pool area is beautiful, and the courtyard peaceful. I was working at the Observatory nearby and highly recommend this as the place to stay if you are there, 10 minutes walk. Also 10mins walk to nearby bars and restaurants in Merate. Even in a warm July, the rooms are cool, and shaded from direct sunlight. It is a little paradise. The owners are friendly, responsive and helpful. I love the place, and I'm staying 2 nights longer than planned.

Excellent B&B. Rural house transformed into a cozy hotel in a fantastic and quiet environment. The facilities are excellent, spacious room, careful decoration, large bathroom with all the details. These characteristics are necessary to feel comfortable when you are away from home but the difference and value are in the personalized treatment. Alba, the owner, is charming and does everything possible to respond to our needs. I have been staying here for 3 weeks for work and I have felt at home. Confortable room, clean, well arranged. Very good beds and nice bathrooms. The room was quiet even if next to the entrance door. ||The breakfast is quite good for italy: you can have a cappucino, there was a selection of fruits, a typical italian cake, some italian biscuits, a selection of jogurts and some corn flakes. As in many hotel in Italy, the only missing item was the fresh bred (but some toasts were proposed).||La signora Alba is very nice.

We wanted a true Italian vacation, off the beaten track with access to trourist attractions. We found Merate to be a charming town with a beautiful downtown, walking distance from Cascina Vedu. Signora Alba and her staff treated us like royatly. They checked with us regarding our preferences and made every effort to meet them. We took day trips to Milan and Bellagio and Veranne and returned to the quite of Merate and Cascina Vedu. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The courtyard and pool area were beautiful. The breakfasts were delicious, and were taylor-made for each guest (i.e. healthy, hearty, Italian-style, American-style, etc.)

Ho soggiornato presso questo b&b una notte durante il salone del mobile per evitare la confusione e i prezzi proibitivi del centro di Milano. Il B&B si trova a Merate in un contesto molto bello e tranquillo. Camere pulitissime, spaziose ed arredate con gusto. Buona la colazione. La signora che gestisce il B&B è una signora deliziosa e disponibile. Valore aggiunto, in caso di bel tempo, la piscina.

I have never met so hospitable family! They treated us as we were their beloved cousines! We drank first morning coffee with hosts in their kitchen! |The accomodation was unbelivable!
