We were welcomed to this delightful hotel on Lake Garda by Giulia and the owner, Valerio who couldn't have been more helpful for our entire stay. |There are only 12 rooms and not all overlook the lake. Unfortunately we booked too late to aquire one of those but our bedroom was quiet, spotlessly clean, excellent shower and super king size bed.|There was access to swim in the lake from the hotel or one could use their shared private beach a short walk away.|We had b&b and two evening meals. The breakfast was excellent and the meals we had were very good.|We would definitely return.

Hotel DuLac Gargano is situated in a quiet area on Lake Garda. It is ideally situated and only 5 minutes walk from the Marina. The Hotel is managed by third generation family, and the attention to detail and maintenance of high standards is apparent from the moment you arrive. Valerio is the consummate host, with recommendations a plenty for dining, walks in the surrounding hills or for simply serving guests graciously, morning, noon and night. He is ably supported by Julia at front of house and during our two dining experiences at the Hotel we received exceptional service and attention from Lorena, who is bilingual and able to provide a five star dining experience. The food at the hotel restaurant is first class, with a variety of options, all presented in the finest quality and standard. Breakfast is superb and the morning view across the lake from the landing is exquisite, there is no better way to start the day! Late afternoons on the upper landing makes for the perfect spot for aperitivo or if the sun is out you can relax on the sun lounges whilst enjoying a full view of Lake Garda. Night caps can be enjoyed in the Piano Room and Valerio is happy to oblige with something special from the Bar. Hotel Du Lac is ideally located, and is not as 'touristy' as other places on the lake, yet the Ferry provides easy access to other townships for day visits. We stayed with our friends for 7 nights and it was the most wonderful experience, with memories and scenery that will remain with us for a lifetime. I would highly recommend Hotel Du Lac if you are planning a trip to Lake Garda.

Wonderful hotel, everything was perfect including sleeping well with the sound of water right out the window! The people were all so kind, hotel staff and everyone in town always had a smile. The hotel and the restaurant had everything we needed. The room was very comfortable and the little terrace where we loved spending our afternoons watching the lake was relaxing. We plan to go again, I think that's the best you can say!

Really great hotel run by super nice staff. We stayed for 4 days or so, and loved it. The area has lots to offer, but sometimes you need to lay on a sunbed and read a book, or three. My compliments to the chef, though the menu could use a children friendly dish. All in all 5+ stars.

Lovely traditional hotel on Lake Garda. Good breakfast each morning served overlooking lake. Room and bathroom adequate size all very clean. Great outside terrace with loungers and seating. Staff very helpful are in restaurant for dinner one night and was really good.

Hotel Du Lac set directly on the Lake’s shores and tucked away from the main road at Villa di Gargnano is a delightful, intimate hotel, run meticulously by the Arosio family. It is thankfully unspoilt by tourism and commercialisation and retains its family traditions and sense of privacy. Breakfast is served on tables directly on the lake’s edge and you can enjoy lunch or dinner including local home made food in which they take much pride. Swimming is on a nearby lido or many of the hidden alcoves along the lake. With easy access to the wonderful Palazzo Bettoni, Bogliaco and Gargnano - there is a lot to see including the famous lemon groves and rich culture from a bygone age. This enchanting hotel is a closely guarded secret – a joy to stay at. We were very sad to leave.

Everything was amazing. We were very well looked after by the friendly staff. Food was delicious and amazing views from the lakeside terrace. The beach club is also a massive bonus - just a short walk away with free deck chairs.

Lovely hotel and a perfect location for getting round the lake. Good food and very pleasant staff. Plenty of space in the rooms. A would recommend a lake view with a balcony if available. |Would return for longer next time.
