||Senz’altro consigliato!

will start with the good, location is walkable, rooms are nice sized for Italy, clean and modern.
Now the bad...A little too modern with confusing light switches and motion detector lights next to the bed that constantly go on and off throughout the night in your room when you turn over in your bed. The staff seems to still be working out the kinks on their service and most of them struggle with English. I told the front desk about an issue in our shower 2 times and nobody came to fix it. On the 3rd day they cleaned our room but did not leave us any towels. When I called the front desk to ask for towels he couldn't understand what a towel was. I had to go onto Google translate and tell him in Italian. There are only 2 floors operating right now and they are continuing to work on the others. If you ask me they jumped the gun and should have waiting until next season to open and get everything running smoothly. This is not a 4 star resort at this point. It's a 3 star at best. The other issues are no mini fridge in your room or coffee/espresso machine, they don't give you bottles of water and expect you to go to a water dispenser in the hallway by the elevators to get water in a pitcher they provide in your room. I cannot recommend staying here at this point but if they get their act together next season it could be 4 stars.

I stayed at So' Lifestyle Hotel in August. The hotel is bright, spacious and modern. The pool area is beautiful, nested in a beautiful parkland. I would stay here again if I were returning to Sorrento and the hotel has great potential. However, there were a few issues;||The hotel still seems to be a work in progress. On two occasions when we were staying the electricity had to be turned off. As a result, our room was not cleaned or 'made up'; I assume this was due to the electronic 'Do Not Disturb/Make Up Room' system resetting. We also had an issue with the air conditioning. We were told that there was an 'known issue' on our floor and that this was due to the hotel being opened in a rush, which is little consolation when you're trying to get to sleep in thirty degree heat. There is nowhere in the bathroom for toiletries other than on the floor; some shelves would have been great. The tiled shower floor was also very slippery when wet. The 'rain' shower head was more like a drizzle - very low water pressure rendering it unusable - but the smaller handheld showerhead was very powerful and there was always an abundance of hot water. Items like soap, body lotion, and tissues were not replenished when used. Breakfast was fine; not a massive selection, and some morning we were offered coffee, other mornings we were not; had we not flagged down a member of staff and asked for coffee this would not have been forthcoming. ||All in all, I enjoyed my stay at So' Lifestyle Hotel. There are some missing finishing touches, and a little finessing as far as customer experience is concerned is needed, but the hotel has a great vibe and has the potential to offer a fresh and modern offering that is somewhat lacking in Sorrento.

Building is low key. Nothing fancy at the entrance, looks like it’s still being finished (construction), they just opened, no issues there!
Elevator available and new tech inside the rooms
What really matters which is the location and room, are great!
Location is super close to the city centre, 15 min walk
Rooms are great, clean and cozy.
Also the pool was very nice
Was also able to park my scooter right outside the hotel (inside the property)

We stayed here four nights. The hotel is located about 1 mile (20 minutes’ walk) from the Piazza Tasso in the city center. This hotel was not open for a year due to renovations to modernize it to a minimalistic concept and digital features such as room lighting, curtains control and door entry technology. The room and the bathroom are spacious, and we also had a nice balcony with a garden view.|The king bed was comfortable, and everything was clean and new.|Several of the more expensive hotels nearby have an ocean view in Sorrento, but this one offered a less expensive option with a pool view when compared to the others in the area.||The hotel is still undergoing renovations to the landscaping and adding more rooms. Since we were out during the day in tours, we did not notice the construction sounds but only one day we did hear some hammering in the morning.||The breakfast was incredibly good, especially the coffee, and the staff was friendly and eager to please. Nice restaurants are nearby walking distance. The tour operator cancelled our boat tour to Capri due to windy conditions; the hotel staff diligently coordinated a local taxi driver to take us on a private tour to Naples which was excellent.||Planning to come back in the future when the hotel upgrade is complete and hopefully next time, we will be able to experience the Capri adventure.

Location: 8/10|Bed Comfort: 8/10|Deco: 7/10|Value 2/10|Quietness: 2/1||The best part of this hotel is not in this hotel but at the Parc del Principle. The terrace with balcony is great for drinks. I did use the beach club and paid $50 bux a person. 4x or $200. Gets this , they only give u 1 towel for $50. I thought view was unique, but to be stingy with towels. Come on. We are not stupid, especially with less than 7 other customers. Being cheap on towels is a bad impression to your guests. We spent money there.|I can't imagine what the Parc Dei Principle was like, I'm glad I didn't stay there. I forgot to mention Parc Dei Principle owns So LifeStyle. A wanna be W hotel without excellent service. I don't think I need to waste any more time on bare amenities. || The rest of our family was staying at the Villa de Fiorell Art Hotel and the treatment, generosity, service was exactly like Rosewood Hotels. Guys, I've been traveling for 14 years as a Trip Advisor, and in my personal opinion, if u are the type of traveler that likes friendliness, professional, true 5 star hotel, and no snarky attitude, than VF Art is really a great place. ||I just feel that Sorrento, Amafi Coast is very expensive, and 5 star accommodations are not always 5 star.||I had to stay at So Life Hotel, 4 star and paid way too much because that is what they had left. Thin walls, noisy guests at 11pm, weird buzzing through walls all day long. ||So, plan ahead.

Form over function. This hotel tries very hard to be modern and advanced, and it is to a degree. But it wasn't designed to be practical for guests. The hotel felt a bit sterile, with a lot of hard, bright, white surfaces. There are a lot of advanced features in the room like the thermostat, the lights, the automatic blinds, sensors that turn on a light when you get out of bed (whether you want it to or not). However, there are no instructions on how to use any of these things, and some are not intuitive. We had a problem figuring out the thermostat. It said "open". Apparently it won't work when the balcony door is open. However, the door was closed. We had to open and close it multiple times per day to just get the thermostat to work. We had trouble figuring out the shower controls. My spouse pulled the emergency cord in the shower to see if it would activate the shower. The only thing that did was deactivate the thermostat, which now read "help". Nobody ever came for the "emergency", and we eventually had to have the front desk deactivate the "alarm" so that we could control the thermostat again.
The bathroom has three sections - a toilet & bidet, a sink, and a shower. In those three sections, there are exactly zero shelves or surfaces to put anything on. The only space available is the small area on the back of the sink. My wife observed that the flexible zoom mirror available would be handy if there were a place to put the makeup.
There are no refrigerators in the rooms, and no ice machines. They were out of ice the first two days, then they got a delivery. I know it's an American thing, but I like a cold Coke, and that wasn't possible at first. There is a nice water machine on every floor (I assume) that dispenses cold still or sparkling water, and hot water.
The pool was nice, but it closed at 6:00. I'm not sure why. The lounge chairs were nice, with a overhead visor feature that I haven't seen before. They could have been cleaner, but it wasn't peak season, and the towels they provided were nice and large, and easy covered the chair.
The breakfast was average. It was the same every day, with runny scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and potatoes. There were a number of pastry options and some meat and cheese. I noticed one kind of cereal and milk. Not a lot of fruit options. By the third day, I was ready for some other options.
The staff we interacted with were all friendly and helpful, although not always smiling. The beach access is through the neighboring hotel and costs 50 euros per day per person. We wish they had an hourly rate, as we only had an hour or two and couldnt justify the expense. However, they do have a small sitting area where you can sit if you buy a drink or something, without paying the access fee. There is a restaurant next to the beach as well, but it was closed when we were there.
The location isn't bad. It's about a five minute walk to the hotel with the beach (and two elevator rides down). It's about a 15 minute walk to where the restaurants start in Sorrento. Less than ten minutes the other direction gets you to Il Ruttino, a restaurant we liked a lot.
Overall, it was more positive than negative, but the negative things were pretty frustrating.
