L’hôtelier est fiable, très sympathique et très professionnel. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour sur ROME dans cette appartement.

This was very disappointing. We took a chance on a new hotel given it had few but excellent reviews. On reflection it appears these are not honest reflections of what we encountered.

Most importantly, the access to the hotel room did not feel safe, as after climbing two very large staircases (equivalent of about four flights) we entered a tiny elevator that stopped midway, lost electricity and required continuous button pushing to restart and arrive safely several floors up. Again, this did not feel safe. The setting, though well decorated, was not appropriately lit (almost no lighting downstairs) and bathroom had exposed piping/hardware in shower that should not have been the case.

While we appreciated the service of the employee who showed us the room, the hotel manager to whom we expressed these concerns over the phone was highly unprofessional.

This place is a scam. Stay away. We arrived at the premise to realize the place doesn’t match anything they claimed on their website. If you check the rest of the 5 star reviews here you’ll notice most of them are from accounts with only one or just a few reviews which should tell you how authentic they are.

- Rooms don’t match their descriptions and images. The living room area had only one tiny light and was completely dark at night (see photo)

- The AC unit in the room didn’t work in a hot summer. You’ll need to keep the window open to have some breeze come in. The window opens to a super busy square however.

- Rooms are on the 5th floor of an old building. There’s elevator access from the third floor up. However the elevator is unsafe. It will stop midway. Clearly hasn’t been serviced in a long time.

- The bathroom and shower were dirty. You’ll notice they don’t have clear photos of the shower for a couple of the rooms on their website and that’s for a reason

- The place was covered in dust and dirt.

- There’s no on-site service. You’ll have to talk to the owner on the phone for any request. She’s rude and unhelpful and her general strategy is to deny everything.

Our stay here was very pleasant. Staff were super accommodating to our early check in, assisted with pick up and taxi service for excursions. Room was clean and located close to all the amazing sights Rome has to offer. Thanks again for making our stay unforgettable.

Stayed 4 nights with my wife from 16 to June 20th 2023 in apartment/suite n°6 on the third floor. |While the location is great in the heart of Rome historical center, we had a very poor experience at Torre Capranica with two severe problems during the full stay:||1. No cold water at all (only very hot water in the bath room, only super hot/burning water in the shower, kitchenette, even in the toilets!!!,...). No offer for any mineral water to help us out.||2. No A/C at all either in the apartment contrary to what was advertised on the web site. The Temperature got above 37,5°C starting at 3 pm until the middle of the night.!!!||We signalled both issues as soon as possible and they were not solved during our stay. The issue was also impacting Aprt 4.||When asking to talk to management, first they did not call when we were still there. After insisting, I could talk to them only after we left. We had to ask for an apology 🙂 and did not get any offer for a discount while paying a price place > 500 Euros per night. "It is not the policy of management; you should have left the place if you were not happy and asked for a refund" is what we were told.
