Cena sublime in un ambiente fatato. Servizio impeccabile, davvero una sapiente e pur discreta coccola per i commensali condita da una gradita dose di spontanea simpatia. I camerieri giovani eppure di grande competenza. E l’ambientazione!! Senza parole. In un giardino incantato in riva al lago, dove tutto è curato nei minimi dettagli, ti senti in pace con l’universo e scopri che la “ magia” può esistere! Esperienza non per tutti economicamente ma che tutti dovremmo provare almeno una volta per riconciliarci con il bello e il buono che la vita sa offrirci, nonostante i problemi quotidiani. Complimenti a tutti, di cuore.

We returned for our first post-pandemic visit to Villa Giulia, and we were delighted to find it better than ever. The same stunning location, and friendly, attentive staff. But it was the food that wowed us this trip. The previous Michelin starred chef has gone, and his former sous chef (Denys Paschenko) has stepped up, and really raised the bar. The food was inventive, stunningly presented and delicious. We especially enjoyed the rabbit fagotelli with langoustine, mushroom and green peas, the squid with lamb sweetbreads and cashew nuts, and the ox tongue with tuna salsa verde and polenta. For sure the Michelin star will be reinstated soon, and deservedly so. Bravo Villa Giulia.

We, a young couple (in their 20's), were staying in the Villa itself, for one week. Great room, large double bed, very clean, room cleaning multiple times a day, bathroom with (small) shower. Hotel service was amazing, very friendly, happy to help service, always with a smile, 24/7 reception. Breakfast was 10/10, great selection of food-options, good service, Vegan options, breakfast was our favorite meal of the day always 🙂

We were part of a larger family group that all stayed at the hotel, we were able to be seated all together or have breakfast is smaller groups and different times if we wanted. We arrived and left at different days/times, some of us stayed longer and Villa Giulia accommodated all of us very well!

We loved the setting, beautiful location, nicely kept Garden, clean pool, lake view, walking distance to the village Gargnano.

Sono andato a Gargnano mosso dalla curiosità di provare questa nuova Stella Michelin ( come ristorante) 2018. Suggerisco, se potete durante la settimana, per evitare le code sulla gardesana ormai abitudinarie. Il posto è splendido, un giardino curatissimo,dalla terrazza si spazia un paesaggio indimenticabile, che il Garda offre. Il ricevimento è stato all'altezza del luogo. Abbiamo preso, a parte il benvenuto della casa un gazpacho nella norma,la trota dove il latte di mandarle alla fine copriva leggermente il resto e un torciglione di fois gras, buono con il vino in abbinamento. Poi siamo passati al risotto liquirizia,burrata e limone. Molto buono , anche se abbiamo segnalato che le bucce di limone si sentivano in modo abbastanza deciso. Siamo passati ai dolci, dove la carta presentava dei dessert nella norma. Avrei preferito qualcosa di più incisivo. Buona carta dei vini con prezzi nella media per il posto e la zona.Prezzo, considerando la zona e il luogo nella norma, medio-alto.Camerieri professionali e attenti. Cucina leggera, moderna con riferimenti alla zona. Una cosa è certa la pace e tranquillità che si respira e vive vale la visita.

We enjoyed our stay at beautiful Villa Giulia. The romantic house and immaculately maintained garden are outstanding. The Spa looked very nice, but you would be charged an extra fee of 100€ if you were to book a time slot to use it. Seen the fact that the use of the spa would have been included if it weren’t for hygiene regulations due to COVID, we found the fee inappropriate. Moreover, the interior design of the hotel, specifically the rooms, should correspond to the price of the stay. The culinary experience at the Villa Giulias restaurant, however, was fabulous. The young waiters provided a dynamic, seamless and pleasant service, flawless all throughout both the dining and breakfast experience. The sommeliers expert wine pairings further elevated the evening and made it unforgettable.

Villa Guilia has a fantastic garden with pool, a small beach and a great terrace directly at the lake. Great breakfast at the terrace, very friendly and attentive personnel at the restaurant and bar. Additional information from the receptionist would have been nice.

We stayed at Villa Giulia for 2 nights and we were chocked at how rude the front desk including owner was. ||||1. A friend calling speaking in Italian got offered at lower price per night then we did when speaking english a few hours later.||2. Front desk lady told us off because she had to help us park - she was annoyed she had to work||3. When I asked the owner for an iron she said there was no maid in the house then suddenly there was a maid but the cost of ironing 1 dress was 15 euro.||||The restaurant staff and the cleaning staff are really friendly but front desk including the owner need to go to tourism school again they clearly forgot that they have to give good service and that the guests are not just cash cows.
